Info

Backstory

The goal of the 3rd-person shooter Drone is to conquer and defend territories with the help of your team. Fight for first place in the Junkyard League

In the year 2256, extreme solar flares have burned the surface of Earth almost entirely. Anybody who could afford it fled the planet. The rest was forced to remain on Earth and face the difficult struggle of reconstruction. But humanity learned to trade with the few remaining natural resources and came to terms with its predicament.

Now, 20 years after the ultimate disaster, Earth is recovering slowly. The first signs of vegetation are visible in the deserts. People are hoping again, but it will still be a long time before rivers start flowing again. The junk trade is booming and many loners settle in great junk fields. However, in the long run, the junk business is a lonely business and some tinkerers have started constructing remote-controlled robots, so-called "Drones".

These Drones are made of pieces of junk and sent to fight each other on different junkyards for entertainment. Their task is to conquer and hold disputed territory. What used to be a simple pastime has turned into a true cult game, join us and send your Drone to battle!
